Welcome to the
Morphish
What it is
The PLC Morphish is a cloud-based translator of PLC source code between Siemens TIA-Portal, Mitsubishi Electric and CoDeSys-based systems such as Bosch ctrlX AUTOMATION.
Executable Siemens source code can be transferred to other platforms with extremely high quality. The form and structure of the source code are retained so that you can immediately find your way around the target system with your own code. A translation level of 100% cannot always be achieved, especially if manufacturer-specific hardware such as servo axes or fieldbuses are used. However, we can support engineering on the target platform and thus realize a complete translation.
The following translation paths are currently available:
Demo
Here you can download a demo project in Siemens TIA-Portal V17 format: TIA-Project / PDF-Export
The function blocks and variables in the project must be converted into a set of XML files via the Openness interface: Openness-Export
From Siemens...
This zip file is ready for automatic code translation. To test the translator, simply upload this ZIP file and the translator will generate the following result: Bosch Rexroth or Mitsubishi Electric
This result can be imported directly into the respective development environment. Simply create an empty project and import the translated file. That's how easy it is to continue using the Siemens source code!
...to Bosch
To import into the development environment ctrlX PLC Engineering from Bosch Rexroth, first create an empty project. Now select the “Application” node in the project tree. Now click on Import project → PLCopenXML ... in the main menu and select the file created with the web service in the subsequent dialog. The translated variables and function blocks are now imported into the project. The result looks like this: Project file Bosch ctrlX PLC Engineering / PDF printout
...or to Mitsubishi Electric
To import into the GX Works3 development environment from Mitsubishi Electric, also create an empty project at the start. Then click on Project → Open Other Format File → XML Format... in the main menu and select the file created with the web service in the dialog box that opens. The translated variables and function blocks are now read into the project. The result looks like this: Mitsubishi GX Works3 project file / PDF printout.

Pricing
The translator can be tried out free of charge in demo mode without registration via this website. The entire structure (structured variables, function modules with interface and networks...) is translated free of charge. Without an account, most variables in the ladder source code are replaced by a demo variable. Each variable forms a tag.
10 tags cost 1 euro
The number of tags required is displayed during translation, broken down according to the individual program elements.
